Our 2008 Buddy Walk Team...will you be in the 2009 photo?
The Buddy Walk is an opportunity for anyone and everyone to walk -- or support a walker -- and raise funds for DS Support.
Last year alone, over $6.5 million dollars was raised nationwide for local and national education, research and advocacy programs through the Buddy Walk program.
Our playgroup for children with Down syndrom, Down in the Southland is asking you to Buddy Walk with us -- either by joining our team or by sponsoring us, or one of our team members -- to benefit local programs of DS Support and the national education, research and advocacy efforts of the National Down Syndrome Society. Your Buddy Walk contribution will help strengthen our ability to serve the individuals with Down syndrome and their families impacted by this genetic condition.
How far we walk is not as important as why we are walking, and how much we'll make a difference in the lives of all individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
