We invite you to join us in this year’s Buddy Walk. It isn’t everyday
that we find ourselves surrounded by heros. Your support makes you a super hero
to us and to the lives that you will touch by attending.
Not every hero can run at the speed of light or jump over tall buildings in a single bound. Some heroes make a difference by simply giving a smile at just the right moment or extending a helping hand to a friend when needed the most. Regardless of how you define a hero, one thing is for sure — a hero is someone who changes the lives of others everyday. This is exactly what you will be doing when you register for the Chicagoland Buddy Walk.
Please join us on October 11, 2009 for our 7th Annual Chicagoland Buddy Walk brought to you by DS Support. We will be working hard to top last year’s
$102,000 raised with over 1300 people who joined us in our efforts.

The Buddy Walk is a one-mile walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is a wonderful, heart-warming event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Whether you have Down syndrome, know someone who does, or just want to show your support, come and join a Buddy Walk in your local community!
